Kenya records 10 more recoveries, 5 new positive cases
Recoveries from coronavirus has climbed by 10 to 22 in Kenya in the last 24 hours, the highest number of survivors recorded on a single day in the country. The survivors have been receiving treatment at Mbagathi Infectious Disease unit and were subjected to two tests in a space of 24 hours which showed no trace of the virus.
At the same time, confirmed cases rose from 184 to 189 after two males and three females out of 504 samples tested positive, all of whom were Kenyan nationals. Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said one case was a returnee from Dubai who had been put under a mandatory quarantine while others were picked by surveillance teams.
